1) WHAT DEFINITIONS ARE USED IN THIS PRIVACY NOTICE?
Controller means a party that is in charge of the personal data processing activities.
Data subject is a term for a human being in accordance with data protection laws.
GDPR means the EU General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016).

Explanation: Personal data is processed to maintain our relationships with our business partners. Category of data subjects: Business partners (contact persons).

Legal basis for processing: Performance of our contractual obligations.
e) Communications
Explanation: Personal data is processed for communications purposes.
Category of data subjects: Persons who contact us.
Categories of personal data: Basic information and contact details and other possible data disclosed to us.
Legal basis for processing: Our legitimate interests, according to which we carry out our communications. Our interests are in line with those of the people who contact us, as they expect us to process their data for communications purposes.

Explanation: Personal data is processed so that we can use cookies.
Category of data subjects: Persons who visit our websites.
Categories of personal data: IP addresses and website behavior.
Legal basis for processing: Consent based on Section 205 § of the Act on Electronic Communications Services of Finland (917/2014) concerning non-essential cookies.

4) FROM WHERE DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We collect personal data concerning you from various sources. The sources of information we use depend on our processing purposes.

We collect your personal data from yourself, employer companies, business partners, authorities, and various public sources such as the trade register.

We collect your personal data from yourself (e.g. via communications services).

We collect your personal data by using cookies. Website data is processed by Google Analytics and GoDaddy.
5) DO WE DISCLOSE OR TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
5.1) Disclosure of personal data
By default, we do not disclose your personal data to third parties. However, if we are required by mandatory law or authority to disclose your personal data, we will assess the lawfulness of the disclosure on a case-by-case basis. We may disclose your personal data to employer companies provided that you have given your consent to the disclosure.
5.2) Transferring personal data to providers of digital services
We may transfer your personal data to third parties who provide digital services when we use their services, for example data storage service providers (e.g., cloud service providers) and communications services providers (e.g., email service providers). As such third parties are our processors, we ensure that we conclude adequate personal data processing agreements and safeguards in relation to the data transfers.

Your personal data may be processed outside the EU and the EEA area. In these situations, we ensure an adequate level of data protection, for example through standard contractual clauses and other similar arrangements.
6) HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The retention period of your personal data depends on the purposes for which we process your personal data. We inspect the necessity of the personal data stored regularly and keep records of the inspections.

8) CAN THIS PRIVACY NOTICE BE AMENDED?
We have a unilateral right to modify this privacy notice. We modify the privacy notice whenever necessary, for example in the case of changing legislation. The modifications take effect immediately when we post the up-to-date version of this privacy notice to our website. If we make significant changes to the privacy notice, or if there is a significant change in the way it is used, we will notify the data subjects.
